Dubai Royal Falconry Hunting
Primarily a means to supplement an otherwise meagre diet, falconry was an integral part of desert life in the Arabian Peninsula. But hunting expeditions also provided the ideal setting for tribal sheikhs to tour their area and connect with the people. The late HH Sheikh Zayed, founding father of the UAE, often spoke of the satisfaction he derived from being part of a hunting party.
In this blog post we present a detailed Insta-report from recent private falconry hunting trips of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and his son Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai.
